Quote: “Every time I walk with Alex I’m reminded both how lucky I am to have friends like him and also how unworthy I am to have friends like him. John Carr, aka Oliver Stone-once the most skilled assassin his country ever had-stands in Lafayette Park in front of the White House, perhaps for the last time. It s in the chaotic aftermath that Stone takes on a new, more urgent assignment: find those responsible for the bombing.

His books are published in over 45 languages and in more than 80 countries, with 150 million copies sold worldwide. It seems the mysterious attackers had another target in their sights, and it's up to the Camel Club to stop them, or face the catastrophic results. He didn’t let age get the better of him, and he also didn’t really care about the fact that he upset a lot of important people. Con artist Annabelle Conroy is now an honorary member of the club, and she turns to the gang when an old enemy targets her. All of the characters interacted well together and I did not figure out who the villain was until the end.

We really enjoyed the book, but the author’s preoccupation with what women were wearing became a subject of mirth among us. The president has personally requested that Stone personally requested that Stone serve his country again on a high risk covert mission. An attack on Lafayette Park, aimed at the British Prime Minister, leaves Stone in the middle of it all as he gets caught in the unexpected bombing. Since no sequels have been announced since 2010, it's likely that this series has reached its conclusion in the author's mind.
