TRUTHEAR x Crinacle Zero:Red have a slightly better passive noise isolation performance than most true wireless earbuds with ear tips we’ve tested. If you're just wanting something that sounds good and you aren't looking to spend hundreds, this will probably very much suffice for sound quality. Truthear Zero is the latest in the line of Crinacle-tuned IEMs and has a rather unique dual-driver setup where one driver acts as a true “woofer”. This gives the RED agility and incisiveness with instruments like the bass guitar but it can feel a little light at times.

These IEMs are suitable for any budget audiophile who primarily looks for neutral tuning rather than analytical detail retrieval. There is a lip at the edge to help hold the tips in place but I actually think it’s the lip that makes me feel the size more than something like the Kiwi Ears Orchestra Lite with a similar nozzle size.

Any winning bidders that fail to pay by midnight on the day of the auction finishing will be banned from making any future bids or purchases on Jobalots. Branding comes in the form of the Truthear printed on the upper side and this is not really visible in use. When using the right size tips for your ears, they won't move around too much during moderate head movements. mm and 10 mm dual dynamic driver configuration of the Zero where the 10 mm acts as a subwoofer with a crossover at around 160 - 180 Hz. That said, you can pick a third-party cable with those features as long as it has a 2-pin connector.

There is, however, a good point about this treble before I go off tearing it a new one, and that is that electric guitars with these mids and treble feel genuinely striking, aggressive and kinda rad to listen to.The Zero is possibly more exciting, especially in the bass, but it's not an IEM that I would be keen to listen to for hours on end like the KXXS. To me, it's mostly the difference of one IEM, the CRA+, being more exciting but also sounding more unnatural. It is the first time that IEM provide me with a sense of externalization (out of your head experience).

Company takes advantage of this by including an inline resistor adapter which would cause more losses where impedance is low. TRUTHEAR x Crinacle Zero:Red are the latest pair of affordable in-ear monitors tuned by the IEM king himself ( Crinacle). I highly recommend watching Crinacle’s own video talking about the RED’s inception here and Resolve’s review here. Even something more instrumentally-focused such as Battle Tapes kind of sucked listening to, which is a big shame. It has a really pleasing, natural timbre, and a slightly splashy, musical quality to its treble response that stems from a 14kHz resonance.True, the highs may be lacking a little sparkle, but in the long run, it is a plus for me, for they are neutral/slightly relaxed sounding. The shape of the RED’s shell is the same as the Zero with the biggest difference being the faceplate. The 7HZ Timeless and the TRUTHEAR x Crinacle ZERO are both IEMs designed with neutral sound in mind. The response is overemphasized across the entire bass range but features a particularly prominent peak in the mid-bass that adds boom and slam to bass-range instruments.

Also, this leads to a strange hollowness in the mid-bass region, something “mid-bass bad” crowd will probably try to pass off as a positive, but it is not often the case. A hallmark of good soundstage is the ability to create an immersive stereo image that sounds like it's coming from around you rather than in your head. The Zero itself has a triangular design (akin to the Tanchjim Hana 2021, just of a larger size) and is composed of resin. And in usual fashion, I'll be taking a look at whether the Zero lives up to the lofty expectations set by the inevitable hype train presently stirring.Furthermore, there’s an included 10 Ohm impedance adapter to further increase the bass response by leveraging the RED’s electrical impedance curve. The 7HZ feature a single planar driver that delivers extremely accurate bass and mids with a veiled treble response.
