The techniques taught in Caroline’s work have allowed me to work on myself in new ways that allow me to be more calm, clear and compassionate. The last few chapters of the book were my favorites as they really brought everything together and helped me see how the 5-Step Neurocycle program can really impact my life in exponential ways.

If you are looking for a well-balanced, scientific, yet practical guide to trade mental chaos and discord for peace and well-being, I highly recommend this new book from the amazing Dr. This revolutionary theory explains the Science of Thought, stating how thoughts form, how we process information and the power of the non-conscious mind and the relationship between the non-conscious and conscious. We always encourage each person to make the decision that seems best for their situation with the guidance of a medical professional. The reason I only gave this 3 stars was because it was both very repetitive, felt at times like an infomercial for her app and her other books, and took way too long before she got to the five simple steps. Whatever form it takes, trauma needs to be addressed because it leaves toxic thoughts – which, as we’ve learned, harm our brains and bodies.Without question I still recommend this book (with a disclaimer about the title to my friends and family, haha! There's hope and help available to us, and the road to healthier thoughts and peak happiness may actually be shorter than you think. She thoroughly explains the steps, give suggestions how to complete each step, and gives examples from her own life. She currently teaches at various academic, medical, and neuroscience conferences, as well as in churches around the world.

It is encouraging that some have been able to use these methods to overcome Trauma, trauma, depression, anxiety, and stop their mental health medications. I would definitely recommend reading if you’re in a place where you’re able to make some new habits and mental changes.If I want to go over how a scientific experiment was done, the best way for me to do that is sit down with the actual paper.
