Description

While tempered chocolate is the best option for making hot chocolate bombs (or any other chocolate confection), it can be a bit of a time-consuming process. During this time set your bowl of melted chocolate back on the pot and keep it over a very low heat to keep it melted and tempered.

Pipe the melted chocolate on your Bailey Bomb and immediately add candy sprinkles or other decorations. If you’re looking for a professional finish and the best possible taste, it’s worth the effort to temper your own chocolate. Add your Baileys Irish Cream to whatever melted chocolate is leftover, and use a hand mixer to combine until smooth. Alcohol starts to evaporate at 172°F, so to keep the integrity of your Baileys, it’s best to keep it under this temperature. A special recipe where warmth and indulgence collide, Baileys Irish Cream and velvety hot chocolate are a match made in heaven!Made just for adults, these boozy Bailey's flavoured hot chocolate bombes and filled with mini marshmallows for the perfect treat. Holiday sprinkles for Christmas, red and white for Valentine’s Day, orange and black for Halloween, and so on! They are super festive and not all that difficult to make, despite what you might think, seeing how adorable they are.

You don’t want to let the chocolate exceed 120°F for dark chocolate or 105°F for milk or white chocolate. You want to make sure the edges are nice and thick and there are no thin spots anywhere in your spheres. The ratings/reviews displayed here may not be representative of every listing on this page, or of every review for these listings. If you’re willing to try to work with it, bring the temperature of the chocolate down as quickly as possible by adding more chocolate and stirring rapidly.

Working with real chocolate is more challenging, but trust me, the result of your hard work will be well worth it! Filled with Baileys infused ganache, then encased in dark chocolate, these Baileys hot chocolate bombs make a cozy treat! Then after a bit of experimenting I realized there was some serious possibilities with these hot chocolate bombs.Option to wear gloves if your hands run hot and you’re worried about the chocolate melting, but tempering the chocolate usually makes this part of the process rather easy. If any of the spheres are uneven or have uneven edges, gently rub the open edge of the sphere on the skillet to create a smooth edge. That said, you could do this with melts, but remember, melts are not real chocolate, so the flavour will always be off. It takes time to master, but hot chocolate baubles are quite simple, all you need is a DIY hot chocolate bomb (a mixture of sweet milk and rich dark chocolate always goes down a treat) and decorate it like your fave festive bauble. We want a pretty thick layer of chocolate, so be generous with the amount of chocolate you add to each mold.
